Weight loss tip - use a tape measure

When you are on a weight loss journey you have to ensure that you keep motivated and nothing is worse then looking in a mirror and the reflection in the mirror appears to have gained weight!

Mirrors Lie!

The reflection that you see in a mirror is possibly being altered by how you are feeling today, the lighting in the room, as well as the reflective qualities of that particular mirror. As a result the reflection is definitely not accurate.

The second measure that we normally use to keep track of our weight is a scale. Your weight on the scale will vary according to time of the day, water retention, when last your stomach worked etc. In fact using a scale as your yardstick is not recommended.

Ignore what other people say bout your weight as they will comment as a reflection of how they feel about themselves and besides they are too busy looking at themselves to worry about how you are looking.

Using a tape measure is probably the most accurate means of keeping track of your weight loss and gains.
